Invisible Pain

It is hard for Alzheimer’s patients to communicate their feelings when they gradually loose their lingual ability, but they are still mentally mature and sensitive. Through observing my family’s experience in taking care of my grandmother, I see her lose her autonomy of life. When we try to help her to pick up food with chopsticks, I can see her feeling very ashamed and embarrassed. I want to visualise this invisible pain caused by over taking care of patients.
